Printer Setting Screen
Hi Pierce for Partner App currently support up to 3 printers. Toggle "Auto Print New Ticket" to turn on/off auto print when there's an incoming ticket. This is useful when you have multiple device signed in at the same time to avoid printing conflict.
Connect to a Printer
On Printer 1 or Printer 2 or Printer 3 tap on the "Printer Type / Brand" dropdown to select printer type.
PLEASE TAP "SAVE CHANGES" EVERY TIME YOU MAKE ANY CHANGE.
- Generic Thermal Printer - LAN/WIFI (ESC/POS) / Generic Impact Printer - LAN/WIFI (ESC/POS): This will connect to any thermal or impact printer that supports ESC/POS protocol. You will need to identify IP address of the target printer to connect.
- Star Micronics Printer - LAN/WIFI: This will connect to Star Micronics receipt printer. Tap on "Search Printer" to search for available printer in the same network this will make the dropdown show as "Searching..." Once the searching is done you will see "Select Printer" appear instead. Select available printer from the dropdown list.
Printing Configuration
Printing configuration will be specific to each printer you connect.
PLEASE TAP "SAVE CHANGES" EVERY TIME YOU MAKE ANY CHANGE.
- Print Copies: copy of ticket to be printed per order/reservation
- Text Size: size of text to be printed out.
- Print Ticket Type
- Live Order: check this to allow the printer to print any online orders
- Reservation: check this to allow the printer to print any reservation
- Catering: check this to allow the printer to print any catering orders
- Curbside Arrival: check this to allow the printer to print curbside arrival when customer tap "I'm here" on their receipt email. (available if curbside functionality is enabled for each partner account)
- Unit Count Treatment
- Print single line with unit count: when customer multiple count of any item the printer will print as [COUNT] x [ITEM] on the ticket
- Print as a separate lines: when customer multiple count of any item the printer will print as [ITEM] with [COUNT] number of lines on the ticket
- Outer Printing Options
- Print Option Label: Check this to print out option label. For example when check you might see - Spice Level: Mild and when this is not checked you might instead see - Mild
- Print Total: Check this to print ticket summary total and tax line
- Print User Stat: Check this to print user statistics for past 90 days
- Print Menu Line: Check this to print which category and menu this order belongs to under the item title
- Print Signature Line: Check this to print signature line for customer to sign
- Use Image Receipt (only for generic thermal printer): Check this to use image rendering for printing. This will produce better font but will have slower printing speed in many printers.
Test Printer
Tap on "Print Sample Receipt" to test all your printer setting.
